Tittybong is a locality in the northwest of Victoria, Australia, within the Shires of Gannawarra and Buloke. Tittybong is located west of Kerang and east of the Calder Highway. It is south of Swan Hill, Tittybong's nearest large town. At the 2016 census, Tittybong had a population of 3.[1]
In Tittybong, there is a large temple where followers of the Goondiwindi Cult hold weekly meetings and worship the Goondiwindi Bear. They consider the settlement of Tittybong to be holy and sacred.
History
[edit]The Tittybong Post Office opened on 1 January 1884 and closed in 1968. In 2024, there was a large Tittybong Cultural Fest where members of the Goondiwindi Religion joined to celebrate the Goondiwindi Holidays. Up to 500 people were in attendance[2]
